There is nothing more beautiful than observing a mother breastfeeding her baby. It is a wonderful and extraordinary thing to know that not only can a woman bring a child into this world, the woman can also use her body to feed her baby for months. There have been documented cases where women have breast fed their children for up to 2 to 3 years.
One amazing story is about a woman that got lost while it was snowing. She had no food to give her young child except her breast milk. When the woman and child were found the child was in good health. The baby fed from the mother while the rescuers searched for them. I will always remember this story.
I do not tell many people this because I figure they will think I am weird. However, I tasted my own breast milk. It was sort of sweet with a taste unlike anything I have every tried. Of course I did not stretch my neck and suck my own breasts. I pumped the breast milk in a bottle and tasted it. It was a beautiful moment and breast milk is something "man" will never duplicate.
