We would like to introduce to "Libby" one of our Contributing Associates and Super Fan of Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen. 

The name "Libby" is the web handle of the Contributing Associate.  Real names are not used in this blogsite.

Libby is an avid fan of Actor Lance Henriksen and extremely loyal and supportive of our genre of Sci-fi, Fantasy, Animation, Horror, etc.   

Those of you that know Libby will remember her. 

Listed below are some memory joggers that may remind fans of Libby.  

We know Actor Lance Henriksen would remember Libby. 

You see Libby loves or enjoys taking pictures with Lance with a big bear hug.  Every opportunity Libby had at Monster Mania 5, she would seek out Lance for a photo opportunity.  However, Libby is no obsessed fan.  Libby is an harmless Super Fan.  In addition at Fangoria in Burbank, California, Lance asked Libby about her father.

As indicated above, Libby attended 2006 Monster Mania 5 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and 2006 Fangoria Horror Convention in Burbank, California.  Libby was in Burbank, California on June 2, 2006 when Adam of Creation Entertainment and Tony of Fangoria gave an extremely well deserved Lifetime Achievement award to Actor Lance Henriksen.

Libby also attended the Celebrity Bash later that night and sat at a table near the front of the stage and left side of the room.

It is hard to believe that this is the 20th anniversary of Actor Lance Henriksen’s performance as the android "Bishop" in the highly acclaimed "Aliens". 

"Aliens" was the second installment of the Alien Movie Franchise.  In addition, it was one of the rare instances where a sequel was better than the original or first movie.  Another movie with that type of record was from the Terminator Franchise.  It is not consequence that Director James Cameron directed both films. 

Director James Cameron also ensured Lance Henriksen got the role as "Bishop" and the rest is history.  Lance and James are long time friends including Bill Paxton.  I am glad to see that their friendship survived in such a "cut throat” industry where entertainers are often coerced into doing things that they did not want to do. 

Prior to Lance Henrisken's performance, androids or robots appeared on the "silver screen" as stiff, lifeless, boring, and emotionless mega brains.  Actor Lance Henriksen showed a more lifeful, intelligent android/robot, and one with a sense of humor.  Just about everybody true to the genre of Sci-Fi remembers that famous line - I may be synthetic but I'm not stupid.  And that knife scene with Actor Bill Paxton rocks!!!!!! 

The second movie of the Alien franchise has a cult-like following.  Young adults that were 5 years old or less when the Aliens hit the "silver screen" knows about the Aliens movie and Actor Lance Henriksen.  And Lance has been going and going non-stop.  Lance is a true actor and artist that has truly embraced his craft and enjoys "feeding" the hefty the appetites of the many fans of the genres of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Animation, Horror, and Drama.  Lance is also funny.  Watch Jennifer 8 to see a side of Lance’s comedic side.  He dances and laughs with his actress wife in the Jennifer 8  and “shoots the breeze” with John played by Andy Garcia.  I really enjoyed the scene where Lance (Character Freddie Ross) asked Actor Andy Garcia (Charcter John) whether he thinks the blind girl, Helena, played by Actress Uma Thurman would want an old dog like him (Garcia).

Twenty years ago, Sigourney Weaver sent her career into hyperdrive as steely Lt. Ellen Ripley, humanity's longest-suffering crusader against the bloodthirsty critters known simply as "Aliens."

When the second chapter in this now-famous quadrilogy was released 20 years ago in the summer of 1986, fans were unsure how it would stand up next to the classic 1979 original, which featured one of the most unsettling and indelible scenes in screen history - John Hurt giving birth, sort of, to an Alien.

Turns out "Aliens" is the rare sequel that surpasses its progenitor, in such glorious style that it has become a giant of the sci-fi/action/adventure genre - a rocket ride through the dark side of our souls powered by awesome visual effects, a razor-sharp cast, tart 'n' tangy dialogue and a frenetic pace set by writer-director James Cameron of "Titanic" fame.

Part of the film's appeal lies in its interesting mix of genres and themes.

On the surface, it's a sci-fi and war flick. But it also tweaks corporate malfeasance, satirizes the yuppie mentality, delves into the eternal battle of the sexes and riffs on the very essence of what it means to be human.

And the most unusual aspect: Beneath all the lead-slinging action, it's really a tender tale of motherhood, embodied by two females doing what's natural - protecting their young. One of them just happens to be a slimy, 15-foot-tall insectoid with deadly claws, a razor-sharp tail and concentrated acid for blood.

For anyone who has ever served in the military, much of the fun derives from the Colonial Marines, the "very tough hombres" with whom Ripley returns to the infamous Planet LV-426 when the human colony there falls silent.

The futuristic weaponry this space faring strike force packs can level worlds, yet the grunts wielding it are familiar:

• The fresh-scrubbed 2nd Lt. Gorman (William Hope), getting his first taste of combat action

• Gunnery Sgt. Apone (Al Matthews), the cigar-chomping, nail-spitting topkick

• The cool and respected Cpl. Hicks (Michael Biehn), and

• The boastful but cowardly Pvt. Hudson (Bill Paxton), who finds his courage in the heat of battle.

Cameron delights in having this crew show that no matter how technology evolves, some parts of military life are likely to endure forever - such as the time-honored tradition of griping about lousy field chow.

There's much tight-knit interplay among the cast members, who also include the android - uh, "artificial person" - Bishop (B-movie icon Lance Henriksen), company toadie Burke (Paul Reiser) and, later, young Newt (played with a fine mix of fear and fortitude by Carrie Henn, an Air Force brat whose dad was based in England, where the film was shot).

Once the setup is out of the way and the Marines arrive at the seemingly deserted colony, the film accelerates into one long rush punctuated by wild action and lots of sharp, ironic lines.

As the film roars along, the relationship between Ripley and Newt emerges as a central theme with deep emotional resonance. Oddly, a scene early in the film that gives new worlds of meaning to this crucial theme was stripped from the original theatrical release to trim two lousy minutes from the run time.

The scene comes just after Ripley has been rescued from hypersleep. Burke informs her that her daughter, only 10 when Ripley left 57 years before, has been dead for two years. "I promised her I'd be home for her 11th birthday," Ripley sobs.

It's no wonder she and Newt later bond like glue; Ripley is not about to fail this surrogate daughter as she did her own child. Fortunately, this scene has been restored to the video and DVD versions of the film.

"Alien Quadrilogy," 2003, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Rated R, $63.98.

Released in December 2003, this mammoth box set - nine DVDs with more than 60 hours of material - is almost as big as an Alien Queen and twice as bad.

The films are on four discs: remastered versions of the original theatrical releases of "Alien," "Aliens," "Alien3" and "Alien Resurrection," along with alternate versions of each - Ridley Scott's director's cut of "Alien," and expanded special editions of the other three films, all with deleted scenes restored.

Each film disc has a companion supplemental disc with an awesome array of special features about developing the stories, crafting the production, creating the special effects and casting the roles.

Sigourney Weaver's original screen test for "Alien"? It's here. Conceptual art portfolios of the unique creatures created by artist H.R. Giger? Ditto. Full-length audio commentary by the directors, artists and actors? Extra deleted scenes? Huge still-photo archives? Affirmative.

To top it off, there's a ninth disc with still more documentary features and all 28 theater and TV trailers for the four films.

"Alien Quadrilogy" is so jam-packed with slimy, acid-soaked goodness that it'll be a long time before you have to say, "Game over, man! Game over!"

Super Fan Paulina of Restless Moon Gallery is scheduled to appear at Sceamfest 2006 in Orlando, Florida.  This talented professional artist will display her gift of artistry in the vendor area.  Paulina became aquainted with the convention scene having attended and displayed her work at Monster Mania 5 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  Paulina's main reason to attend Monster Mania 5 was to finally meet Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen.  And meet Lance she did.  Paulina is also a Contributing Associate of La Femme Nikita07 and Associates.

Rather Tenacious is preparing for her theaterical debut in MET2's Off-Broadway production of "Peter Pan" scheduled for April 2007 in Los Angeles County. When asked, Rather Tenacious (RT) volunteered to help build the sets.  However, RT mentioned that she could paint, use a screwdriver and bring people water.  

And Lance could be anywhere in the world.  Hence, I always say " Seeya when I Seeya".

Super Fan of Actor Lance Henriksen "Rather Tenacious" joins the ensemble cast of MET2 for an Off-Broadway production of Peter Pan in Los Angeles County. 

"Rather Tenacious", Contributing Associate of La Femme Nikita07 and Associates, went with a relative to meet the staff and crew of MET2 at a VIP reception at the invitation of one of the company's administrator.  At the reception, members of MET2 discussed joining the cast.  After the V.I.P reception,  "Rather Tenacious" and a relative stayed for the Off-Broadway production of Bye Bye Birdie.   After the play, "Rather Tenacious" and a relative agreed to join MET2.

Rehearsal for an Off-Broadway production of "Peter Pan" is scheduled to begin January 2007 with the play scheduled for April 2007 in Los Angeles county.  According to "Rather Tenacious" everything hasn't soaked in yet.  Everything happened so quickly similarly to the way Actor Lance Henriksen started out.

More and More public figures especially entertainers whether an actor, actress, and/or a public figure, has someone that cares for them and is "watching their back."  The latest trend lately regarding actors and actresses attending public events is that they often have their publiclist and/or agent/manager with them.  The person that watches Actor Lance Henriksen's back is his Agent and Manager Steve C.

However, what Lance and Steve doesn't know is that both of them have a whole lot of Super Fans "watching their back".  In addition to Steve C., Lance has a lot of Super Fans "watching his back" while he travels and while making public appearances.  Genuine "Super Fans" would do whatever necessary to preserve life (their own) and Actor Lance Henriksen.  They are loyal to the genre of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Anime, and Horror and are not fanatics.  They just have their favorite actors and/or actresses. So when Lance travels he has more people "watching his back" then he knows.  You know the "good book" mentions that there is no greater love than the love of another that will lay down their life for you (not literally). Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen is kickin it with many of his Super Fans at a Celebrity Bash in celebration of Lance receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Burbank Hilton in Burbank, California June 2006 and Monster Mania 5 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey May 2006.  This is just one of the many things that Lance does well and why Lance has such an almost "cult" like following of loyal fans.

Only a Super Fan could get Lance to smile like this and did. Super Fans can make any of their admired stars feel special because Super Fans are special.  I read that Lance really does not see himself as a "star" ; however, for lack of a better word I am sure Lance won't be bothered by my usage in this blog.  Do you know what a Super Fan is?

Super fans are fans that have the ability to influence and/or persuade other fans to see, reject, and/or ignore movies and films that do not meet their expectations and/or not true to the genre of horror, science fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, and most importantly comics.  Super Fans know the history of the characters and whether what was done in a scene is accurate and/or logical based on the book or comic and even the prior movie of a sequel.  Super Fans are opinioned and brutally honest and extremely wise with their economic dollar.  However, if you can win the Super Fan over you may have a lifetime fan and free positive publicity.  Super Fans exist all around us and in various occupations.  One comment thread is that they primarily use the Internet to share their "likes and/or dislikes" about actors/actresses, movies and film plots and whether other fans should watch the movie at the expensive theater or wait for DVD or cable.  Super Fans have been around a long time.  However, while in a time when mostly everybody is on some kind of budget referring to Super Fans for entertainment recommendations is as commonplace as a fork and spoon.  Super Fans are Bloggers, Blogmasters, Webmasters, etc.  The word of their message crosses the United States into other countries where our American movies also distributed.  To get a glimpse of the amount of Super Fans consider the amount of people that will attend the conventions this year such as: Fangoria, Monster Mania, San Diego Comic Con, Anime, WonderCon, Film Festivals and other venues.  Those that ignore the Super Fans debate over what went wrong when their project performs less than expected and/or the feedback are very critical.

Henriksen - A Face SciFi Can’t Get Enough Of

Lance Henriksen is one of maybe a handful of actors that scifi and genre related fans would prefer to see in a SF film, even over and above a blockbuster big-budget actor. Another actor who fits that prestigious SF category would be Michael Ironside. There is just that, what the industry calls “SOMETHING,” that Henriksen has that makes him a joy to watch in any role, but especially scifi and horror.

Lance has starred in his share of huge movie and TV projects including, “The X-Files,” his own show that was a spinoff of X-Files - “Millennium.” And, let’s not forget his memorable performances in the “Alien” franchise, “Near Dark,” “The Terminator” and that little scifi pic from Steven Spielberg called “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” One quick note - Michael Bay is thinking of doing a remake of “Near Dark” and if he is smart, his people should have gotten Lance on the phone - like, yesterday!

I enjoyed this movie despite that the negative reviews versus positive views were outweighed 5 to 1.  A lot of the negative reviews make reference to the original movie as though it should be the "baseline." Have they heard the saying "that if you live in the past you will not enjoy the future"?  I don't quite understand most reviewer's biases towards remakes.  Why would we want a remake to be near exactly to the original?  If so, what is the point of the remake?  In my opinion, the movie was very entertaining and had me in suspense when the stranger started calling.  In addition, Actress Camilla Belle, in my opinion, did a fine job carrying a movie as the leading actress in most scences by herself.  There are some things I would not have done having lived in a major city all my life so far.  To illustrate, Rosie the housekeeper would have been on her own.  I would not have gone to the guesthouse looking for Rosie or the son of the people that hired the baby sitter.  In addition, where I live the police would have sent a car out probably during the first call especially with a teenager in a remote unfamiliar location. We pay too much taxes for a somewhat middle class neighorhood to have any lesser service unless the police officers are bored.  Just kidding. Anyway, too much realism in films can deplete the entertainment value.  If films were so true to "real life" who would bother to watch. Besides, we have enough "real life or reality television shows" and we definitely do not need "reality" or "real life" films.  In fact, there are too many "real life" or "reality" television shows.  Unfortunately, they are very popular among the viewers and I must admit entertaining. We could just film ourselves and friends and entertain ourselves including making our own popcorn.  On a serious note the movie is worth a buy and/or rental.  Make up your own mind.  Following will be other reviewer's comments.  By Lafemmenikita07

Interview with Actress Camilla Belle
"I hate horror movies!" says Camilla Belle, leading lady of When A Stranger Calls (opening in theaters nationwide today). She says she doesn't get off on horror.
Hopefully, her fans won't feel the same way. This PG-13 remake of a much more mentally brutal film from 1979 qualifies as horror, but Belle and her director, Simon West, went into the project with movies like Wait Until Dark and The Birds strongly in mind.  Belle plays Jill Johnson, a high school track athlete who loves to talk on her cell phone — so much so, that she's exceeded her minutes and she's put on restriction by her dad (Clark Gregg). Worse still, Jill is forced to pay the bill off by babysitting.  Her first gig is for Dr. and Mrs. Mandrakis (Derek de Lint, Kate Jennings Grant) and initially it seems easy as pie.  The flu-addled kids are asleep in a Nyquil-induced stupor, and the big showplace of a house is better than any five-star hotel, complete with a big screen TV, stereo, an atrium, and a fridge full of vittles.  Jill is doing just fine, until she starts getting bizarre, threatening phone calls. "Have you checked the children?" asks the male caller. "Are you sure they're all right?" Alone in the isolated, fishbowl of a house, the young woman begins to freak out……Then the phone rings for real. During our interviews, a telephone in the room started ringing incessantly, sending costar Katie Cassidy and the journalists into fits of laughter. But it's nervous laughter. Cassidy admits that she is somewhat like her character, Tiffany, in that she might do "dumb" things in the face of danger, "I would seriously freak out, too. I'm such a scaredy cat. Especially like… we shot it in the woods, and were hearing noises. I would freak out. I would like try to get hold of somebody on my cell phone. I'd be like, 'Come and get me. I'm so scared!' I might start crying, like Tiffany does."
Belle says that she had a few tricks up her mental sleeve to help her get into character. "At first it was a bit difficult to try to get into that, and to realize what I had to do to get myself to that point. I had to come up with sort of visuals in my head to make myself scared and whatnot. Before I did the film, I saw the old classics by Hitchcock and things like Rosemary's Baby and The Shining.
"Jack Nicholson really did become The Stranger for me. I would get his DVD box in my trailer and stare at it for a really long time and think, 'Ok, that's it'. Then I would run to the set and get ready for the scene. I did things like that to pump myself up. "I point out to Belle that there's almost a 'Shining moment' in When A Stranger Calls. "I know," she laughs. "I felt like I needed to get my knife, you know, and start screaming on the set. We were all kind of joking around about that, that day. "While Belle admits she never did baby-sit in real life, Cassidy has. Cassidy, obviously no stranger to urban legends surrounding the job, always used the buddy system. "I used to baby-sit but never by myself. I always brought a friend with me, one of my girlfriends, and we'd baby-sit together. Because it was scary. It freaked me out to be in the house like that, watching the kids. "Both young actresses say that above all else, the script and the director was the deciding factor (none of them, not even West, have seen the 1979 original). "The way the script was written was really cool," says Cassidy. "I like the idea that they used the first 20 minutes of the original and made it into a whole film. [My character is a new invention, but] she is a fun character. The fact that Simon West was directing, that was a big bonus. So those things really made me want to do it. "But will audiences want to see it? In two days' time, Monday's box office report will tell.”

Can you believe this Super Fans?  We wanted AVP2 and now it is suppose to take place in some weird timezone on earth with none of the original cast including Lance Henrisken even those he was killed in the movie AVP.  I at least expected the character of Alex to re-appear.  I heard that actress Sanaa Lathan had signed a two picture deal during negotiations of the offer for AVP.  This is not worth the wait!!!!!!  What do you think?                  By Lafemmenikita07

This article by Scott Mantz has some good points about low turn out to the movies.  However, in my opinion, it is a lot of reasons the turnout is low that may not have  anything to do with whether a movie is good and/or the acting is great.  Based on the people I am around, the budgets are limited for entertainment and the movies have to compete with other forms of entertainment including money for vacations.  To illustrate I attended approximately 4 special exhibits showing within the last year and a half at the Los Angeles Musuem of Art (LAMA) this year such as: (1) The Phillips Collection, (2) King Tut, (3) Cezanne and Pissaro and (4) Van Gogh.  I enjoyed myself so much that I continue to be a member and I have not be disappointed with a show yet.

Here’s a scary thought – the first decade of the new Millennium is now half over.

And wow, did 2005 fly by, or what?  It feels like just yesterday that I was looking back on 2004, when box office grosses were at an all-time high, thanks to surefire hits like “Spider-Man 2” and “Shrek 2” and trend-bucking flukes like “Fahrenheit 9/11” and “The Passion of the Christ.”

But as the saying goes, what a difference a year can make, as those in the movie business are now asking themselves, “where were those flukes when we needed them?”  That’s because despite top-grossers like “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “War of the Worlds,” there were no real flukes.

As a result, overall box office receipts for 2005 will total around $8.75 billion – that’s down 5% compared to last year’s record-breaking total of $9.2 billion.  When you factor in higher ticket prices, actual admissions were down by an even bigger margin – a whopping 11% to 1.32 billion compared to 1.48 billion last year.  And since 527 new films were released in 2005 compared to 507 in 2004, that means more films were released to less business.

So what happened?  Hollywood movies were just as good (or as bad) as they were every year, so why weren’t people flocking to the multiplexes to see them – especially now that most theaters are equipped with stadium seating and state-of-the-art technology?

In trying to answer those questions, industry pundits sure had a lot to write about.  And by the middle of the summer, when weekend box office tallies were down for 19 straight weeks compared to the same frames last year, everyone was doing just that.

And many of their conclusions were fairly justified, especially when it came to the fact that it’s just too damned expensive to go to the movies these days.  Tickets cost too much.  Food concessions cost even more.  And then there’s parking, which can be a chore in itself.  And even if you make it inside the theater, there’s always the chance that some pinhead forgot turn off his cell phone.

So why not stay at home?  It’s cheaper.  It’s more comfortable.  And if you wait long enough, that big movie you missed in theaters 3 months ago probably just came out on DVD anyway.  And you can always schedule watching that DVD around your other diversions – like checking your email, surfing the web, downloading music onto your iPod or playing videogames.

Of course, there’s the ultimate conclusion, and it’s one that the Hollywood studios could no longer ignore – that their movies just weren’t any good.  That would certainly explain why a number of high-profile wannabe blockbusters like “Stealth,” “The Island” and “XXX: State of the Union” tanked at the box office.  After all, no amount of studio marketing can save a bad movie, and in the end, moviegoers know a stinker when they see one.

Do these points make sense?  Certainly.  But is it too soon to over-react and throw in the towel on the moviegoing experience?  Absolutely.

While the downturn at the box office is definitely cause for concern, it’s too early to say whether or not it will get worse or if it’s all part of a cycle that will correct itself.  I suppose the only way to know for sure is to give it another year.  Who knows, the box office in 2006 could reach record highs, in which case everyone will forget that the problems of 2005 even existed.  And if that doesn’t happen, then the movie studios will know that they have a real problem on their hands.

But through all the doom and gloom at the box office, 2005 still ended up being a banner year for quality films – especially towards the end of the year.  So here now are my favorite movies of 2005…"

I am a Super Fan of Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen; however, I must admit I have not seen most of the movies Lance has been in.  I am sort of a late bloomer.  When Lance got his first break I was still in High School.  I probably was still watching the Brady Bunch or something.  Now, that I am more aware I am seeking out Lance's earlier works; however, they are hard to find.  In addition, some of the movies have not been placed on DVD such as "Profile for Murder".  I bought this movie used based on another Super Fan of Lances recommendation and I was not disappointed.  It is only in VHS.  I do not know why it has not been converted to DVD.  Maybe it has to do with something technical.  However, whoever has the rights to do this has made a big mistake.  As the young kids would say, "this movie is off the chain" and should be placed on a DVD.  I am not going to spoil it for anybody; however, if you are trying to get pregnant watch this movie for foreplay.  By Lafemmenikita07

The aforementioned  is one group of business organizations that knows and enjoys the business they are in and most importantly knows what the genre fans want on an onging and consist basis.  They read the fan feedback and enhance the show each year so the genre fans woll come back and new fans will come.

This was my first show this year.  In addition, to everything going on I enjoyed the fans.  They were exciting, rushing off to panels and asking questions, watching trailors, hitting the vendor tables, etc.  For the most part they was not much trouble for a large group in a confined space and most importantly the celebrities felt comfortable and safe and where out and among the fans. It was a joy for me to witness this. I attended June 2-4 in Burbank, California at the  Burbank Airport Hilton Convention Center. 

I was there the day, June 2, 2006 when Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen received a Lifetime Acheivement Award from Fangoria and Creation Entertainment.  The genre fans really enjoyed this and gave Lance a standing ovation.  Kudos to Fangoria, Creation Entertainment, Anchor Bay and IDT Entertainment and most of all to Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen and the other celebrities.  By Lafemmenikita07

In addition, later that night Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen shared his award with a Super Fan. Super fans are fans that have the ability to influence and/or persuade other fans to see, reject, and/or ignore movies and films that do not meet their expectations and/or not the actor/actress that "has fallen out of grace" such as Tom Cruise.  Super Fans are opinionated and may be brutally honest and extremely wise with their economic dollar.  However, if you can win the Super Fan over you may have a lifetime fan and free positive publicity.  Super Fans exist all around us and in various occupations.  One comment thread is that they primarily use the Internet to share their "likes and/or dislikes" about actors/actresses, movies and film plots and whether other fans should watch the movie at the expensive theater or wait for DVD or cable. Super Fans have been around a long time.  However, while in a time when mostly everybody is on some kind of budget referring to Super Fans for entertainment recommendations is as commonplace as a fork and spoon. Super Fans are Bloggers, Blogmasters, Webmasters, etc.  The word of their message crosses the United States into other countries where our American movies also distributed. To get a glimpse of the amount of Super Fans consider the amount of people that will attend the conventions this year such as: Convention Events such as Fangoria, Monster Mania, San Diego Comic Con, Anime, WonderCon, Film Festivals and other venues.  Those that ignore the Super Fans debate over what went wrong when their project performs less than expected and/or the feedback are very critical.  However, actors such as Actor/Artist Lance Henriksen knows the economic power of the Super Fans, are familiar with most of them and where they hang out.  When possible Lance Henriksen attends such conventions and other venues to spread hugs, handshakes, pictures, etc.  Sometimes the archenemy of a movie is the Super-Fan, the kind with the power to create a firestorm of negative buzz on the Internet. I really like this movie because Lance Henriksen is outstanding as Burns...funny, original, and with his incredible ability to move from caring to menacing in the blink of an eye or simply a look. Molly, Michael, and Alex keep repeating the same lines ad nauseam. Lance/Burns is really the only person worth watching and he's wonderful. I SO WISH for a Region 1 DVD version! A must for all Lance Henriksen fans!

This is a great who-dun-it with lots of twists and turns. And the man who steals the spotlight is Lance Henriksen (Aliens) with one of his uncoventional scary guy creations. Molly Ringwald (Fresh Horses) and Donal Logue (Dear God) play a couple in hiding in Baha. They are trying to get money from her dad played by Corben Bersen (Major League). They'd had a drug deal go bad earlier and a person was killed. It wasn't until much later that they noticed the strange tourist (Henriksen) hanging around. Then surprising things begin to happen. This is a great movie for Henriksen fans and a great one for those who love a mystery.
