Sasquatch Mountain is one of the best modern day versions of Bigfoot I have ever seen. The irony of my vision for a good plot and what I wrote in the blog on July 12, 2006 is so close to Michael Worth's vision that it is scary. People have told me that now that I have decided to stop suppressing my artistic side and letting it go that they saw, seen, and heard some amazing talented things come from me that they did not know I was capable of doing. However, I just thought they were being nice until now. Wow, I would really like to meet Michael Worth just to tell him about this whole thing. For any "doubting thomases" I will place my right hand on the bible that I knew nothing about the writer's vision for this movie.
Below is an excerpt from an earlier blog. The ideas behind the story I wrote below compared to Michael Worth's vision are amazing. In addition, it wasn't until the ending of the movie that I realized that the movie had similarities to what I would like to see in a Bigfoot movie if I was involved in the production. Before the ending I was into the movie so much I did not think about what I had written in the blog in July 2006. Besides I had moved on to keeping track of the other projects of Lance Henriksen's as part of the mission and vision of this blog and that is to document and share the lifetime achievements of Lance Henriksen while Lance is alive. Too many tributes to people are done when a person has left this earth and/or has been diagnosed with some deathly disease. Well, I prefer doing this while the person is alive to know it and believe it. I am not stating that Lance Henriksen knows about or has read this blog. Indirectly, I believe as I do my small part to assist fans in becoming more aware of Lance's achievements and support his projects by attending conventions to see him, buying or renting his DVDs, and all the praise the fans are sending his way out there then I know that just a little bit of what I do may reach Lance.
This way of thinking applies to everybody. We all have something special about us no matter what "naysayers" have said and/or written about us.
Well, you are probably expecting a review of the movie now that I have seen it. I am going to wait for some encore presentations of the movie so other fans may have a chance to see the movie without the knowledge of spoilers from me. By Lafemmenikita07 9/9/2006
Super Fan Comment Written July 12, 2006
I can not speak for the rest of the people. However let me tell you a childhood secret. I have always wondered whether a bigfoot exist. Since a child I believe I have seen approximately 95% of all bigfoot movies. I do not understand why "man's" depiction of Bigfoot is that he is bad, mean, and an animal that just kills humans just because. Perhaps Bigfoot kills because he is defending himself. In my opinion, every living thing has the instinct to survive especially when perceived threaten. Why doesn't somebody dare to be different and show Bigfoot differently? Considering the evolutionary chain of events Bigfoot should have evolved in intelligence and behavior. I mean what is the point here. Are they trying to say bigfoot is part animal and man. I would like to see a writer take on this challenge and show man and bigfoot meeting without all that killing. Over time the Predator has killed a lot of human beings; however, remember, the predator did not kill the sole survivor left in AVP. The Predator made a choice. By Lafemmenikita07
